An assignment from art class in High School where we were asked to sculpt a ceremonial-style mask. I didn't know what anthropomorphism was back then & the half-humanoid features were more a result of my imaginative limitations -- trying to make a lion's face fit on a mask designed to be worn by a human.
This piece is hanging in the yard at my parent's place. You can see where the edge has broken off, I don't know when or how that happened. The mask is decorated with shards from a broken mirror (I had to use what I had available), but most of them are now missing, notably the long pieces that were in the pupil of the eye.
